Ryan and Jacinta heard about Martelli & Co Buyer's Agents through word of mouth, having inquired with friends about buyer's agent services in Auckland. Although relatively new to New Zealand, buyer's agency was a concept they were familiar with from their experiences in Australia. Ryan and Jacinta already knew Auckland well having rented homes here for previous expatriations, but this time they wanted to buy a house and make New Zealand more permanent.

Having good access to the motorway for the daily commute to the CBD, and Auckland's west coast beaches for the best surfing spots, was also important.

Working closely with Martelli & Co, Ryan and Jacinta refined their search criteria and we identified areas that aligned with their preference while also staying within budget. We pursued a number of suitable homes and narrowed it down to the best two, both of which were off market.  After careful consideration and negotiation we were successful in securing a beautiful four bedroom modern home in Riverhead that ticked all of the boxes. The team at Haigh Lyon gave excellent legal advice working through the intricacies of the agreement.  The home has a great layout for a busy family and beautiful design features including high ceilings, polished concrete floors, multiple entertaining areas, and views directly over the river.  It is also located in a lovely friendly community with excellent local schooling, and steps to the historic Riverhead Tavern for afternoon jazz sessions.
